MOJO Announces Smart New Shows for its Upscale Male Viewers: Test Drive, and Technology Jones, and a new project starring Ralph Pagano, Plus Renewals of After Hours with Daniel, Dr. Danger and London Live 

NEW YORK- August 1, 2007 - MOJO has traversed the globe to create a line-up of shows that taps into men’s passions, from adventure to zinfandel. The network announces its Fall 2007 schedule including renewals of several popular series:

After Hours with Daniel, Dr. Danger with Dr. Bob Arnot and London Live; joined by network premieres Test Drive, Technology Jones and Pressure Cook.   MOJO’s Fall 2007 line-up sets the bar higher with expanded program concepts produced specifically for its affluent male HD audience and presented in brilliant 1080i clarity and 5.1 sound.

MOJO Fall 2007 Season Premieres:

After Hours with Daniel:  Celebrated multiple award-winning chef and restaurateur Daniel Boulud hosts this second season of late night gourmet meals with the culinary who’s who. This season he gathers other renowned chefs, celebrities and food journalists for late night dinners at top Los Angeles restaurants to sample new dishes and share stories and gossip at the ultimate gourmet “round table.”  Ten 30-minute episodes. Premieres October 2007.  Produced by Tiara Blu Films.  Executive Producer is Diane Nabatoff.

Dr. Danger:  This season, Dr. Bob Arnot (former NBC correspondent) grabs his flak jacket, stethoscope and side arm to travel to direly dangerous destinations of the Middle East.  He digs deep to uncover the hardships, challenges and conquests of the people and cultures in each country.  Locations include:  Afghanistan, Djibouti, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Jordan, Yemen and Libya. Eight 30-minute episodes. Premieres October 2007.  Dr. Danger is produced by Essex Television Group. Principals are Jim Astrausky and Dan Carey.

London Live:  MOJO viewers rock out with this eclectic showcase of music’s top bands performing at The Koko Club in London, with a new host: top BBC Radio 1 DJ Sara Cox.  Bands include Fergie, Maroon 5, Rufus Wainwright, Feist, Mark Ronson, The Enemy, Bloc Party, Groove Armada, Air (featuring Charlotte Gainsbourg), Editors, Queens of the Stone Age and Kings of Leon. Ten 30-minute episodes. Premieres October 2007.  London Live is produced by 3DD Entertainment of London.  Series Producer is Dominic Lobo. Executive Producers are Andrew Higgie and Dominic Saville.

New Original MOJO premieres include:

Test Drive:  An unconventional show all about cars with useful information and a sense of humor: from which car is a chick magnet, to which gets the best mileage, tricks of urban car survival, tackling nasty commutes, humorously dealing with road rage, obscure tips for car maintenance and the latest in automotive technology.  Six 30-minute episodes. Premieres October 2007.  Produced by Screaming Flea Productions.  Matt Chan and Dave Severson are Executive Producers.

Technology Jones: What happens when you challenge modern professionals and families to enter a technological time machine and use only the technology from randomly selected years in the past?  Such was the fate of a sound engineer, a real estate agent, a surfer, a DJ, a comedian, a casting agent and two interior designers who willingly agree to work with the most advanced technology of years like 1961, 1974, 1957 or 1983 for one week. The drama unfolds when their digital lifestyles are taken away.   Eight 30-minute episodes. Premieres October 2007. Produced by Prettiest Pony Productions.  Producers are Bart Smith and Tom Coleman.

Pressure Cook:  If pleasing American’s demanding dietary requests isn’t challenge enough for a chef, see what happens when world class chef Ralph Pagano (owner of Fat Ralph’s in the Hamptons and finalist on FOX’s Hell’s Kitchen) is dropped off somewhere around the world, and despite not knowing the local language, culture or history - he must swap his cooking talents and ingenuity to make enough dough to return home. Ten 30-minute episodes. Premieres October 2007. Produced by Helicon Media. Executive Producer is Sandy Green.
