MOJO HD OBTAINS EXCLUSIVE HD CABLE RIGHTS TO THE 2007 WORLD SERIES FILM FROM MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL PRODUCTIONS

New York – Jan. 7 - MOJO HD has acquired the exclusive rights to the television premiere of the celebratory 2007 World Series film, documenting the match-up between the Boston Red Sox and the Colorado Rockies. Narrated by actor and Red Sox fan Matt Damon, the 90 minute special produced by Major League Baseball Productions in stunning high definition will premiere on MOJO HD on Thursday, Jan. 10, 2008 at 9pmET/PT.*
The film captures all the drama as the Red Sox overcame a three game to one deficit versus the Cleveland Indians in the ALCS to secure a berth in the World Series. They then faced the red hot Colorado Rockies who had won 21 of their last 22 games and became the second team ever to win their first seven games in a postseason. With original game broadcast footage plusoff-the-field candid moments with players and coaches inside the dugout and the clubhouse, viewers can relive Boston’s amazing four game sweep for their second World Series championship in the last four years, including their exuberant clubhouse celebration.
The special includes dramatic game highlights such as Red Sox rookie Dustin Pedroia becoming the second player ever to lead off a World Series Game One with a home run in his first at-bat, the first back-to-back-to-back home runs (Kevin Youkilis, David Ortiz and Manny Ramirez) in World Series history and the emergence of young stars such as Jacoby Ellsbury and Jonathan Papelbon. Then viewers will ride along with Series MVP Mike Lowell during the championship parade. The special was produced by Major League Baseball productions.
