Italy

In this episode of Pressure Cook, Ralph will be dropped in Italy – a dream destination for anyone who has ever donned a chef’s hat. While Ralph feels very comfortable here at first, this quickly fades away as the challenges mount. He is confronted with a very expensive plane fair, very few English speaking people, and lots of potential bosses missing in action because of vacations. Ralph’s really got to think on his feet to avoid eating a big plate of Cervello Al Burro AKA lambs brains in butter.

Ralph’s Recommendation:

A culinary tour is a great way to dive into the amazing food Italy has to offer.  I recommend Abruzzo Cibus Culinary Tours in the incredible Abruzzo region of Italy.  They are passionate about food, and squeeze a lot into your culinary vacation!  From cooking classes to excursions to local artisan manufactory, you will find yourself immersed in a word of food, wine, olive oil, hospitality, history, and Italian culinary traditions.
