Best known as the leader of New Zealand's new wave art rock outfit, Split Enz, Tim Finn has been leaving his mark on the music industry for nearly 25 years. Starting out with Split Enz, Finn went on to a solo career, contributing soundtracks and appearing in minor movie roles. 1986's Big Canoe enjoyed indie-level success, and Tim released five albums following it, including last year's Imaginary Kingdom. He joined his brother, Neil, for the group effort Crowded House and then collaborated with him one-on-one for the 1991 album, Finn and again with 2004's Everyone is Here. Tim Finn was awarded Officer of British Empire status in 1993, along with his brother Neil, for their contributions to New Zealand music, and he has recently contributed a song to The Chronicles of Narnia soundtrack.
