Haven't seen a pipette since chemistry class in '96 (when Bhijal filled his with something toxic and burnt a hole in Mr Grey's pocket)? In 2006 there are 3 Pipettes and they're experimenting with indie pop. A polka-dot loving trio of ladies, The Pipettes are Gwenno (vocals), Becki (vocals) and Rose (also vocals) who come from Brighton on a mission to shake up the "dull indie scene" who "stand and watch and stroke their beards" to inject some fun into your life. Indeed, catchy numbers like "ABC", "Love You" and the equally infectious "School Uniform" it would be difficult not to crack a smile on the face of even the most dour of Coldplayers. What's more, judging by the success of the girl's recent live performances, alongside ballard beau's The Magic Numbers, their synchronized sways and carefully timed harmonies should have the Sugababes working at your local ASDA in no time!
