With their new single "Wrong Upstairs" out on the 12th June, The On Offs are the latest fret pounding trio to cause a frenzy in beer soaked NME clubs across Britain. As if from nowhere, Danny Connors (vocals/guitar) Andy Crofts (Vocals/Bass) Luke Goddard (Vocals/Drums) have emerged with the kind of fast tempo pop that'll have indie kids sweating their skinny-fit tees. The trio (who sound like the The Jam at their most energetic) are in fact seasoned muso's: Andy and Luke are former band-mates from Circa and The High Drivers, whilst Danny is a former solo artist having released tracks through Delta Sonic (The same label as The Coral and The Zutons). The lads have recently recorded a series of tracks at "The Lodge" a prominent recording studio in their home town of Northampton alongside Max Heyes, who's worked previously with Paul Weller and Primal Scream.
