Morning Runner

Morning Runner

A "friendly Radiohead" a "decent U2" for a group of Berkshire boys who got their name from yes you've guessed it "people who run in the early hours" they've got a lot to live up to. But what of the name? Lead crooner Mathew Greener seems to have a deep affection for those annoyingly enthusiastic joggers out there who say things like "the early bird…" and drink celery shakes: "People who run in the early hours made an impression on me," says Matthew. "It made me think of the pursuit people make to try and better themselves be it physically, mentally or spiritually…" ‘Wilderness Is Paradise Now' their fantastic debut album was recorded at Rockfield Studios in Cornwall, produced by John Cornfield (who has previously worked with Muse, Razorlight and more recently Boy Kill Boy) and it contains enough thrusting anthems to have you running for your nearest record store (with or without a celery shake).
