The 'least irritating member of chart-topping pop-punkers Busted' is a mantra Matt Willis may have come to know, 'The next Robbie Williams' he may well come to love. The south London likely lad has had a busy year, having topped lists of 'what's hot and what's not' in 2006, the former bassist from boy band Busted (how many 'B's' in that) has been putting the finishing touches to his single 'Up All Night'. Officially released on 22nd May, the single which is Matt's debut, is the first to be released by the only member of the former trio to go solo (the others, Charlie Simpson and James Bourne perform in group ensembles 'Fightstar' and the aptly named 'Son of Dork' respectively). Somewhat surprisingly, Willis claims to have taken inspiration from 80's air guitar rock heroes and sites Van Halen as an influence. As for the other two… well it's the "bit of rough" described brilliantly by one fan as "all mouth, plenty of trouser" that seems to be getting their former fan base hot around the collar.
