James Dean Bradfield

James Dean Bradfield

The modest but hugely talented James Dean Bradfield has worked with industry greats such as Tom Jones, and of course fronted the legendary Manic Street Preachers, but he now has his first solo album due for release next month. The completion of Bradfield's first solo album "The Great Western" has given the Welshman a confidence boost: "Seeing 'Words and Music by James Dean Bradfield' written down actually made me feel happy. For once I've lost a bit of my insecurity." This revelation seems somewhat bizarre considering Bradfield's long history of personal success: not only has he toured the world fronting the 'proud to be Welsh' outfit Manic Street Preachers for over fifteen years, he's contributed vocals on an 808 State, remixed Massive Attack's Inertia Creeps, produced songs for Northern Uproar, written for Kylie Minogue and duetted with Tom Jones! And if his latest single "That's No Way To Tell A Lie" is anything to go by, get ready for more of James Dean's distinctive vocals across the airwaves.
