A multi-layered, psychedelic, discotronic epic, ooh-la-la Goldfrapp have created a masterpiece. Again. After 2000's glorious debut "Felt Mountain" much was expected of Goldfrapp's second album, but vocalist Alison Goldfrapp and fellow musical wizard, Will Gregory released their second record in 2003 to huge international acclaim. A more sultry album with equal Art-pop sensibility, songs from "Black Cherry" have featured on TV and Film scores. The duo's stage performances - inspired by "nature" - have involved animal costumes influencing the world of advertising and fashion alike. Not bad for a girl from bath, who used to be Tricky's backing vocalist. Little wonder then that "Supernature", officially released on 1st May is already creating a storm. Recorded in Bath amongst "Bushes and chintzy sofas and 70's Hoovers next to synthesizers" -get ready for some surprises this time round: the synth-pop purists have included guitars!
