Grant Nicholas admitted he was once "hit by a tin of tuna during a gig", fortunately, Echo have just released a collection of Feeder's finest singles, so there's little chance they'll be canned by them! Set apart from the introspective and quintessentially English sounds of other early nineties Britpoppers, Feeder are a band apart. With transglobal appeal and a sound that fuses catchy melodies with noisy guitars and awesome beats (as played since 2002 by ex-Skunk Anansie drummer Mark Richardson) every song on the "The Singles" is a swift reminder of the last decade and how much of it you spent on the M25 nodding your head to a Feeder song. Unfortunately, their past is irrevocably marked by the sad loss of former drummer Jon Lee - a good friend of lead singer Grant since his teens - who was found dead in his Miami home in 2002. The 1000 mourners who attended his funeral are testament to the band's massive popularity and their dogged determination ever since, is perhaps best described in new single: "Lost and Found".
