Originally called "Snowfield", Birmingham based Editors met at Stafford University and signed to independent label Kitchenware in 2004. 2005 brought a mammoth tour, three hit single releases ["Bullets", "Munich", "Blood"] and a huge amount of reverential press. Stunning live performances at Glastonbury, Reading, and Leeds, helped debut album "The Back Room" enter the charts at No.13. 2006 looks like being another remarkable year. A January re-release of "Munich" gave Editors their first Top Ten UK single, while The Back Room went platinum after climbing to No.2. After just 12 months Editors have already staked their claim to be one of the decade's most important bands.
