"Never work with family" so the saying goes - unless of course you're in the Mafia, live in Norfolk or are a member of Duels. Guitarist Jim Foulger, brother of front man Jon Foulger both cousins of keyboardist Katherine Botterill, form three of the five piece band, not forgetting James Kirkbright (drums) and Jon Maher (bass) - currently being hailed as the next big thing to emerge from an ever increasing northern indie-rock scene. With the electric enthusiasm of tunes such as "Brothers and Sisters", and the pulsating power of "Pressure on you" causing a major stir within the industry, the Duels' debut album is released early this summer. So don't be too surprised if these Bowie influenced rockers, join fellow Leedsonians the Kaiser Chiefs, on the dizzy road to success.
