Delays
The Delays floated out of Southampton in 2003, twisting the cliché of "guitar pop" into the finest of high art. Vocalist Greg, drummer Rowly, and bassist Colin formed "Corky" in 1996, before Greg's sequencer wizard brother Aaron joined the band and Delays were born. Their first album "Faded Seaside Glamour" brought the hits "Hey Girl" and "Long Time Coming". Vibrant second album "You See Colours" [featuring current hit "Valentine"], has been described as "melt-on-the-tongue music with a dark, bitter centre". Consistently slithering out from under the firm thumb of definition, Delays have made the record that will place the band at the core of British pop music in 2006.
