Badly Drawn Boy

Badly Drawn Boy

Badly Drawn Boy is the musical musings of Damon Gough, a Manchester-born troubadour who began his career by passing out independently produced vinyl EPs to friends. Gough's debut album, The Hour of Bewildrebeast drew critical acclaim for his stripped-down, confessional style. Following that release, author and vouched music-fanatic, Nick Hornby asked Gough to score the film version of his book, About A Boy. His next album, Have You Fed the Fish? fleshed out Badly Drawn Boy's sound by adding guitars and drums. His past two albums have taken him back to his pure singer-songwriter roots, chronicling the death of a close friend on 2004's One Plus One Is One and his personal experiences growing up British on Born In The U.K., perhaps a titular nod to one of his strongest influences, Bruce Springsteen.
